ICAR Admission
The All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA), which is administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), is a requirement for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctorate (PhD) programs in agriculture and related disciplines at numerous Indian universities and institutions.
Eligibility criteria
- UG: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC, and UPS categories, and 40% marks for SC, ST, and PC categories.
- PG: Candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or allied sciences with at least 60% marks for General, OBC, and UPS categories, and 50% marks for SC, ST, and PC categories.
- Ph.D.: Candidates must have passed a master’s degree in agriculture or allied sciences with at least 60% marks for General, OBC, and UPS categories, and 50% marks for SC, ST, and PC categories.
Admission process
The admission process for ICAR AIEEA 2025 is as follows:
- Register for the ICAR AIEEA exam on the NTA website.
- Appear for the ICAR AIEEA exam on the scheduled date.
- Check the ICAR AIEEA results and rank card on the NTA website.
- Participate in the ICAR AIEEA counselling process.
- Get allotted a seat in a participating university/institute.
- Deposit the admission fee and complete the admission formalities.
ICAR AIEEA 2025 counselling process
The ICAR AIEEA 2025 counselling process will be conducted online and candidates will be able to participate by registering on the NTA website. The counselling process will include the following steps:
- Choice filling: Candidates will have to fill in their choices of universities/institutes in order of preference.
- Seat allotment: The NTA will allot seats to candidates based on their rank and choices.
- Document verification: Candidates will have to verify their documents at the allotted university/institute.
- Admission fee payment: Candidates will have to pay the admission fee at the allotted university/institute.
